Andrea Boccelli, Marco Borsato en Paul de Leeuw staan hoog in de top 50 van uitvaartmuziek op cd. Na de dood van André Hazes en Antonie Kamerling stond hun muziek misschien meer op de voorgrond. Er is ook popmuziek die heel goed past bij een persoonlijk afscheid of herdenkingsceremonie en niet bekend is bij het grote publiek.
